Why don't you only have a Big Jackpot Pool?  Why do you also have a group that plays Treasure Hunt?

Because when we play the game with the best odds first, we have a greater chance of winning!  Plus when you look at the odds of $2,000 on Mega Millions and Powerball as opposed to the odds on Treasure Hunt, you can see why:

Here is another example of why it doesn't work when the odds are extremely high... 

FOUR times Mega Millions and the Powerball were at least $500 Million, so quite a few of us threw together some money just to play for the heck of it!  Below are the results!  Basically, for anyone that pitched in $10, the total they won ranged between $0.76 and $1.80!!!  With our Treasure Hunt Pool, your $25 generally wins anywhere from $5 to $14 (see Results).  It's just another option that we are using to help increase our odds!

How many slots can you reserve?

As many as you want!  Just keep in mind that each $20/$25 slot in each lotto group is worth $1.5 Million in the big jackpot.  So if you get 2 slots in the same pool, your share of the jackpot would be at least $3 Million.  You can be added to any group by going to the Groups page and registering.  You can send in a payment through one of the four ways listed below based on the number of slots you are requesting.  If you are placed on a waiting list, your check will NOT BE CASHED until you are actually placed in a lotto group.

How can I pay for my slots?

There are FIVE WAYS that you can pay for slots.  Once we receive your payment, your name will be added to the group that you request and you will receive email communications letting you know about updates and when we're playing!  Please pay for your slots ONLY with the ways listed below:

How will I know if we played and what we won?

We will send out an email letting you know when we are playing.  Shortly after the drawing, we will send you an email to let you know what the RESULTS are.  You can also open the spreadsheet accessed on the group's page that contains our lotto numbers to see for yourself what our winnings were.

I opened the Excel spreadsheet with our lotto numbers.  How do I use it?

In the spreadsheet, the only cells that you should use are the ones in BLUE.  Do not change or edit any other cells in the file because you might erase important formulas that are calculating winnings.  When you fill in the cells in blue, the results will appear underneath.   Watch this video aid to help guide you through this.

Once we play and I want to stay with the group, how much time do I have to send in more money?

When we play, you will have 7 days to send in more money if you would like to stay with the group.  During this time, your slot is protected and you can't lose it.  After the 7 days has passed, then you run the risk of losing your slot.

Why $1.5 Milliion per slot?  Why not $1 Million?

When winnings are paid out from the lottery to our lotto group, federal taxes are deducted from the prize money.  If we waited for the jackpot to be $80 million ($1 million each), then each slot's take home money would be $750,000.  We want to be millionaires, not thousandaires!  Therefore, with a $1.5 million prize, you can take home an actual MILLION DOLLAR CHECK to show your friends and family because the extra $500,000 should be enough to cover the taxes!!

Is this legal?

Yes.  Please see the following screen shot from the PA Lottery website asking if we are permitted to do this.  They allow lotto groups to play the lottery and they have no regulations prohibiting groups from promoting it.

How can I trust you?

We can't prove to you that you can trust us.  However, your only risk is $20-$25 per slot.  Is it worth $20-$25 for you to try?  You risk losing a chance to win if you DON'T try!!!  We will treat you like a customer because we want to continue doing this until we win, so we WANT to KEEP you in the group!  Also, we will make every attempt to give you the numbers ahead of time PRIOR to the drawing because they're a click away on the Groups page!!  We will also keep in constant communication with you to give you status updates, and you can also feel free to call and ask any questions you may have at 724-207-0457 or send an email to [email protected].

What if I wanted to tell someone about this without a computer?

We have a brochure that can be used to tell people about the lotto group.  Please feel free to print it as many copies as you want!  If you print it on both sides of a regular sized piece of paper, it can be folded into thirds like a regular brochure.  Or if you'd like, we also have gift cards available at $25 per card that you can give as a gift.  Simply send us an email at [email protected] or call 724-207-0457.

Don't forget that we have a referral bonus!  When you refer someone to the group and you are already a member, then someone new using the gift card will result in your next payment being waived!  Details can be found on our Groups page.

Have you ever tried this before?

Here is a history of how this came about:

We did try playing the Powerball in March of 2008 with a group of 10 people.  Each person contributed a whopping $210.  So, we spent $2,100, but it was on the Powerball alone.  Obviously, we didn't win but we haven't given up!  After looking at the odds again and the amount of the investment, we put our heads together and came up with the 2 Step strategy for Treasure Hunt.  It's all about the odds - you have to increase your odds in order to increase your chances of winning!  If you would like to see for yourself, visit the PA Lottery website and grab a calculator to determine odds using different strategies.  If you can come up with better odds than this, please share your thoughts with us!!!

How much does it cost to stay with the lotto group?

The cost to stay involved with the lotto group is VERY MINIMAL.  The average investment per month per slot for the Treasure Hunt Pool comes to:  $15.56 per month ($540 ($25/$20 x 22 plays in 2017) - $197.69 (total winnings per slot in 2017) = $342.31 / 22 plays).  So basically, for the cost of a meal at a restaurant, you can have the BEST CHANCE ANYWHERE to win BIG on the LOTTO!  We don't yet have a full year's results for the Big Jackpot Pool because this group was created in October 2017, but we are estimating that it will be close to an average of $19 per month.

Do you have any references?

We can give you names and phone numbers of members in the lotto group.  They can tell you how we collected the money, bought the tickets, provided the numbers in an Excel spreadsheet, collected the winnings that we did get, and made arrangements to distribute the winnings or to play again.

How long do I have to wait in order to play?

We can't predict how long it will take for you to get in the lotto group or to play.  We would have to wait for the jackpots to reach their desired limits.  We want to win and we feel that this is the BEST way to get great odds, so the more people we get, the better!  Some people spend thousands in their lifetime trying to win the lottery.  We don't want that!  We're simply playing it a little smarter than just the $10 ticket that you may purchase every week!

Can I send in an advance payment for the next drawing so I don't miss the 7 day deadline?

Yes, we will simply make a note that you have a credit.  However, if you already have a credit, then we will simply hold onto your check until it's actually needed.  Checks are NOT cashed unless needed.

If I'm in the lotto group and I decide that I don't want to play, can I get my money back?

Yes, as long as we haven't purchased the lottery tickets yet.  Again, we treat you like a customer.  We want to keep you happy and we want you to trust us.  Feel free to call us at 724-207-0457 or send an email to [email protected] to request your money back.

What happens if I lose my slot for non payment?

If we do not get a response from you or if you fail to pay for your slots by the time we play again, we will drop you from the group and send you any winnings or credit that you have.  Due to the amount of administrative work that is involved with adding and removing people from the group, you will NOT be allowed to reenter the group for at least 3 drawings.  You will be able to get back in on the 4th drawing from the time your slot was dropped.  This would not apply if you give us notice that you want to drop your slot(s) prior to the 7 day deadline of sending in your payment.

Are you affiliated with the lottery?

Our lotto group is not affiliated with the PA Lottery or Mega Millions.  We are an independent lotto group/lotto pool that simply collects money from our members and plays the lottery as described on this website.  No other benefits or results are promised or guaranteed.  Members should consult with a tax professional regarding their tax return claims.
